We’ve helped Thousands of Local Families learn Ways to Reduce their monthly Utility Bills.
Rather than just providing utility payment assistance, we are teaching families how to prevent high utility bills all together.
Our Build it Green Graduates, once at risk with uncertain futures, are now employed in careers including construction, community organizing and youth mentorship.
Our 12-week paid program teaches soft skills that prepare trainees to become reliable and valued employees along with technical training including sustainable construction, OSHA 10 and LEAD Abatement certifications
Our Chattanooga Green Prix is inspiring a new generation of engineers.
Starting as young as age 9, students are designing, building and racing electric power race cars. They compete against teams from all across the Southeast for a chance to go to England for the International Race.
4. We are creating a culture of sustainability in Chattanooga.
By participating in our green|light program, local businesses are improving their triple bottom line by addressing their economic, social and environmental impacts, we are creating an Integrated Community Sustainability Plan to set out goals and objectives become more resilient over the next 10 years in areas of Water, Energy, Mobility, Eco-Systems, Waste/Materials and Thriving Communities and offer monthly lunch and learns to increase exposure of new technologies and methods to advance sustainable living and building across Chattanooga.
