The Nation’s First Localized Sustainability Professional Certificate
The green|leader Certificate is an on-line, self-paced course designed to help working professionals, students, and passionate citizens acquire a significant understanding of the fundamental challenges and business opportunities arising from our rapidly changing environment and economic landscape. It is designed for a professional working full-time to complete in eight weeks but can take more or less time depending on your schedule.
As we face unprecedented environmental, social, and fiscal challenges, it’s essential that we collectively learn to conduct business differently. This Certificate creates environmental stewards - green|leaders - who will champion changes within their businesses, industries, and communities. A broad, holistic approach, the green|leader Certificate examines how businesses can be resilient, increase efficiencies, prepare for risk and communicate the value propositions of sustainability to customers, employees and investors.

Students will:
Understand global, regional, and local sustainability challenges in energy, water, & material waste.
Develop industry-specific environmental, social and fiscal impact indicators, and cost effective strategies to improve them.
Learn adaptable strategies to help advance sustainability programs in a variety of business cultures.
Become familiar with relevant sustainability certifications.
