Communities, Companies, & Sustainability Attraction
What policies and plans can attract the right kind of corporation + community partnerships?
Companies of all sizes are increasingly factoring in sustainability and climate considerations into their business decisions …
… And the same companies are hiring executive level sustainability directors who set goals for clean energy procurement or carbon reductions, implement policies to reach those goals, and evaluate whether the communities where they operate will hinder or help them meet their environmental goals.
Given this shift, communities across America need to asses their economic competitiveness and whether or not they have policies and plans in place that make them attractive places for corporate expansions.
Join green|spaces — either in-person or online, RSVP required, see right — as we welcome Ryan Evans, Executive Director of Chambers for Innovation & Clean Energy, and RockRidge Venture Law to look at some of the ways communities can increase their sustainability attractiveness to companies looking to relocate or expand their operations.
(In-person includes lunch provided.
This event is the 4th in green|spaces’ Integrated Community Sustainability Plan Series.
