Engage, Connect, Protect — Global & Local Perspectives on Diversity in Outdoor Spaces & Industries
Join green|spaces + Chattanooga Urban League as we welcome Angelou Ezeilo, founder of the international nonprofit Greening Youth Foundation (based in Atlanta) and author of Engage, Connect, Protect — Empowering Diverse Youth as Environmental Leaders.
Ezeilo, along with Pablo Mazariegos, director of the upcoming film Bigger Than Me, and Clark Brewer, musician, founder of Bridge Chattanooga + Huemans Outdoors (a new local black-owned outdoor brand), and the subject of the upcoming film Bigger Than Me will share their experiences.
Find out how each are working to engage diverse youth, connect them with the outdoors, and build opportunities to thrive in industries centered on the environment + environmental justice.
(This virtual event is the 2nd in green|spaces’ Integrated Community Sustainability Plan Series. For a documentary preview of Bigger Than Me, scroll down.)
