Atlanta has been recognized by the Department of Energy for their leadership in the Better Buildings Challenge, with over 100 million square feet committed to increasing energy and water efficiency 20% by 2020. Since its launch in 2011, the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge (ABBC), has achieved 15% energy savings. This lunch & learn will feature Sabrina Cowden, Senior Project Manager with Milepost Consulting, who worked closely with ABBC to identify the best practices and lessons learned that were the keys to Atlanta's success and helped them create an Implementation Model toolkit that any municipality or district can use to replicate Atlanta's success in implementing a resource efficiency effort
