The green|spaces Resource Center was the first project in the State of Tennessee to receive LEED Platinum Certification and offers a wealth of knowledge to professionals and the public.

Our resource center demonstrates how good design, site selection, daylighting, material selection, and technology serve to create a healthy space that is pleasant and engaging. Our ground-source (geothermal) heat pump and greywater reuse system also demonstrate some of the best technology to conserve resources and operate efficiently.

The energy use intensity of our space (EUI) is currently 23.2 kBTU/SF/Year compared to 47.1 kBTU/SF/Year for an average building with a similar type of use.

We have collected a series of resources both physically in our space, and online on the menu to your left. If we can't answer your question, we can likely send you to someone who can.
